Today MusicNamaste introduces a talented artist of Carnatic Music – Kavya Chandrasekaran.
Kavya Chandrasekaran is from Dombivli, Mumbai. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. She has been learning Carnatic Music for the past 14 years under the guidance of Smt.Shantha Raman. She has participated in various Carnatic music competitions, online and offline and has performed in several orchestra programmes. She has attempted and won many awards from renowned music academies all over Mumbai like Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha, Vashi Fine Arts, Mulund Fine Arts, Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Chembur Fine Arts etc. She has completed III Year in Carnatic Vocal Exam conducted by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, Pune).
