Today MusicNamaste introduces a very accomplished Carnatic Musician – Smt.Praveena Gouthaman. Smt.Praveena Gouthaman is a Carnatic Vocal and Veena artist. Mrs.Praveena has done masters in Carnatic vocal and Carnatic Veena from Madras University in first class. She is a disciple of Sangeetha Kala Acharya Smt.Radha Namboodiri, Mumbai. She is a disciple of Shyamala Sajanani for veena. She is a faculty of Carnatic vocal in Fine arts, Chembur for 13 years and Natanapriya for the last six years. She has students who learn online from US , Dubai , Australia and Chennai.
She holds a title Shanmukha Sangeetha mani for playing Veena given by Shanmmukhananada, Mumbai. She has won endowment awards for rendering varnams and kritis. She has given global online concerts for Malasia International Carnatic league, Dubai Organisation etc. She has done Mcom Mphil in Commerce and is a retired lecturer in junior college, Mumbai. She has participated in international Veena festivals held by Kalakendra,Chennai.
