Today MusicNamaste introduces Sri. Tapas Bala, a very talented musician who plays a very beautiful and unique musical instrument Santoor. Sri. Tapas Bala, at a very young age has come up as a promising artist. At first he learned Tabla from when he was 7 years old. After that he started to learning Santoor from Shri.Chiradeep Sarkar in 2001.Still now he is learning from Shri.Aranya Chowdhury and pt.Tarun Bhattacharya.
Tapas started Tabla from Shri. Chandi Sarkar. After that he goes to Shri. Chiradeep Sarkar for learning Santoor. Still he is the bright disciple of Guru Aranya Chowdhury and Pt Tarun bhattacharya. Tapas, basically a classical solo performer. Behind that he also accompany with light music and fusion successfully.
